paid the pound, my navara parted company with its conrod yesterday, a very kind man in a toyota, towed me home,off to the nissan dealership today but dont hold out much hope 61,000 miles on a 54 plate, pure jap crap. stuart.smith190@hotmail.co.uk

NO NO NO, get onto them straight away, make sure its been cleaned(seriously) and tyres are good, obviously this doesnt matter to you but it will definatly give the impression yo look after your truck (of course you do look after your truck) mileage it within the limits, and your 54 plate should squeeze in with the time scale, a full service history either main dealer, or garage that stamps the book is fine, hope this give you some confidence, oh and dont take no for an answer and mention the site ( this helps lots)

POsting by Boris member of casse-pickup-nissan .org ,our sister site in France. We do not expect the issue to materialise in any D22 vehicles outside of this extended warranty period. However, should it happen in an engine outside of this period, and if it is deemed to be for the same fault with a correctly maintained vehicle, these cases will be handled sympathetically.--------- There you have the official policy from Nissan
