Hi there i WAS a prod owner of a Navara Adventra in 2006 costing £32,000 then it had all the extra's i.e towbar armadillo cover, back bars chrome handle cover etc anyway all was going well for about 2 months then i had a problem with the 4x4 switch where the warning light would show in dash took it in to dealer an they said this was a known fault and changed it, i though nothing of it and guest there may be an odd teething prob, i also got them to look at switch on in cab light as it would not stay on. about 3 months passed an all was going well driving the truck was a pleasure then 4x4 warning light came on again took it in and said it was same problem on way home after another week without truck guess what, light came on again took it back was told it was doggy batch had it changed again. Anyway after 27,000 mile main problem happend clutch went on motoway managed to get it in to dealer not happy, they contacted warrenty department i was then told Nissan would not pay for part duo to DRIVER'S ABUSE i was shakeing with anger how can at 27,000 miles a 4x4 Trucks clutch go when i have driven it like last car with over 145,000 miles on it no probs, plus havent even towed with it. after kicking up a huge stink refusing to pay they sent a man from delmonti or werever to take a look he found there infact was a Fault with the flywheel not being seated properly caursing straint on clutch and burning it out both were changed under warrenty. About 2 more switches later i was finely Pi**t off as light came on for 7th time in 9 months took it in and demanded a proper explanation they checked out the transfer box to find it had was faulty and needed replacing and that the gear box had a plug missing caursing water and crap to enter damaging it an caursing water to get into elec's this too needed replacing, again Nissan Refused to cover both under warrenty and quoted me over £4,000 to replace, to this i thretend them with court an watchdog etc. they then admited prob and would change both after 12 week's in garage i got it back then do the best thing of my life, i took it strait to another Garage and Part exchanged it for a Dodge Ram 1500 American pickup i lost over £7,000 doing this as over the space of 9 months but at the end of the day my home life is now much happier as the containt Navara stress has gone i am glad to say after 3 months and a secound hand dodge ram now with 33,000 miles on clock i have not had a single prob. lol apart fuel bill hehe 
. SO MORRAL TO STORY "DONT BUY A NAVARA"
As you can imagin i am not happy with Nissan UK as im still having to pay off 7,000 loan as nav was brought on finace and part exchange would not cover whole price an could not sell for price left. Nissan should compensate all who have had probs but i guess there is more chance of that space ship landing in wales and marshons taking over the world then this ever happning.
