I,ve had a phone call from Andrew Mackay ,Glasgow Herald, and an E-mail from him also Nissan have now recognised after research and analysis that the D22 pickup, has not performed to their expectations .They have extended their warranty to 150000 k or 92,000 miles or 5 years whichever comes first (I have problems with this)They also expect that the vehicle to have been serviced responsibly ,and recommended that I call customer service to discuss the case, which I will do tomorrow.I,ve also discussed this with a firm of solicitors and should hear from them tomorrow The name of the lady concerned is Gabi Whitfield ,communications director Nissan Motors GB Ltd This is indeed good news

Hello all.
I've just telephoned my local dealership (Evans Halshaw-Middlesbrough) and they state the three year warranty has 'definately not been extended' to five years. Great news as my as I am now getting bad engine vibrations in the footwells from 3k revs and over. Just waiting for the bang any moment now! Can anyone out there supply any Nissan contact details as to where this supposed extension came from? Regards.
