Took my D22 to my local mechanic because the clutch had died. I bought and had him install a brand new clutch. After installation, the truck has seemed to lose allot of power. There's also a loud, high metallic sound that seems to be coming from under the hood, which gets louder with higher rpms. Days later the truck shut down on me and i had to take it back to the mechanic.
He now says that the timing chain has burst and will need repairing.
Any help?

Maybe you chose wrong clutch? Or try to ask other mechanic. I'm sorry I can give you better advice about it. But I can tell you how you can save some money on fuel. I use petrol calculator on petrolcalc.co.uk/ that helps to count money I spend on fueling. With simple math manipulations you know what to do. Just extra info for you.
