Hi all, my 1st post on here ;D
Purchased my 57 plate aventura from new and only problem to arise was from the cr*p quality from the snugtop back door which was replaced under warranty.
Now however I have been having problems with the fuel rail and nissan "modified" this and so say cured the loss of power that I had been suffering. This worked briefly, but now since I have had even more power losses they have declared that both the fuel pump and rail need replacing. This was being done under warranty and the only issue was that the parts were on "back order" from Nissan and could take 4 weeks. They gave me after some haggling from me a "Pixo" obviously very close to the vehicle I had purchased from them! Now its been 5 weeks and they still have no idea when they can get these parts although I have been upgraded to VIP status which means they cant track anything!! Doh! I take it that there is a recurring pump problem on these vehicles now until Nissan can source a suitable pump to overcome the power losses?

Snap! My 07 has been in three times for a fuel pump issue, each time about two or three weeks, and now has been in since 29th Nov, but this time they say the common rial is showing as faulty. Even after replacing the common rail, the problem still is there, and they now don't know whats wrong with it. Be careful about your warranty, they have told me it's three years or 60k, mine has just passed 62k, so everything is chargeable, although i am going to try to pursue them as i don't believe they fixed the fault correctly under warrantee. I have done some digging, and it appears this is a common fault on this model.

Mines been fixed, cost us £2000.00, lasted two days and has gone again! Has yours been sorted yet? I am taking legal advice as this vehicle is now so unrealible as to be useless to my business, and worthless to us. To ad insult to injury, the dealer has offered me £7800.00 for it, not bad to say it cost £23k in March '07.

Hi this is my first post. Bought my navara new in feb 07. Engine started cutting out after four months. Was showing up as a turbo fault. Would go ok after engine was restarted. Got so bad I told dealer to keep it until problem was sorted - took two weeks and a new common rail fuel line. Engine gave up completely last november with 88k miles on clock. Nissan want 8k for a new engine. I don't have full nissan service history.
