At last, and only after chasing Nissan Customer service (a oxymorn if ever there was one), for over 6 weeks, got phone call from Mark Godber to say that engine failure was being covered under warranty and that they had authorised the dealer to get it done. Im happy in that it is being covered under warranty, but had got to a very fruated stage with Nissan for causing a multitude of unecesary delays to to process. I think the message is clear....if you want it warrantied to prepared to battle with them and stick to your guns.

Hi Just had a phone call from Nissan customer services? after 6 week wait to say they have authorised repairs to bottom half of engine !! Mine is an 05 with 87k on the clock with recomended service history , think I am one of the lucky ones to get that far on original engine!! Will see how long it takes to come back now! Any ideas if I should keep it now or get rid?And buy a Hilux?
