:)Hi all, seems a great site, and i`m going to donate ,don't worry. please can you advise me. i`m at my wits with customer service UK. I always get put through to a LISA cant think of her second name. I bought my navara d40 privately I have the d40 clutch problem, my local dealer confirmed this, he rang them twice to get them to pay for it as they think its bad as my truck has only done 21,000 from new with full Nissan history. When I reported the problem my warranty was five weeks out of date. But come on 21,000 miles from new. The clutches must be made out of plastic. I have written to Nissan and phoned and emailed. But I get the same thing said its like a stuck record. Sorry sir we are not aware of any clutch problem. sorry sir I cant comment on that. sorry sir you bought it privately so you were not being loyal to Nissan. My father has just bought a new navara as he liked mine so much, and he`s now wondering if he has made a bad mistake. Please help guys as I feel very helpless at the moment. Many thanks. curly

Hi Curly and welcome to our site .Thank you for sharing your problem with us Most of us here have had experience one way or another of the quality of these vehicles,whether D22 and their crap engines or D40swith clutches The name Lisa is new to me try phoning direct to nissan customer couldn,t care less service @01923899999 Keep a record of call and try complaining to Watchdog ,take advice from the Which mag (they are aware of us) or phone Patrick Taylor navara claims.com01522518813 Keep us informed of how you get on and tell the old boy ,"He,s made a big mistake" Good luck Regards Niall

Hi There, I've just had the same problem, admittedly at 52K miles, and my Nivara is just outside the three year warranty, and I only bought it 3 months ago from the local Nissan dealer. My mechanic has sorted it but when he spoke to someone at Nissan they said that they had just started taking some action on this in the last couple of weeks. My mechanic is away till Monday and I am going to get all the details from him about who he spoke to etc. I will keep you posted but won't have any more information till after I have spoken to him.

Hi Curly Other members speak highly of Maria Whyte The number I gave you is to nissan direct without having to go through a centre in Belfast You could also speak to Angie Matthews and do mention you are a member and have spoken to us Nissan are well aware of this site and are watching.Keep us informed of any dealings This is important.Good luck and regards Niall

I have had contact from john at Nissan cus/care very helpful indeed, and they have agreed to pay for a new clutch for my navara, . I will keep you posted step by step.

hi curly just joined this week 51K and no clutch only differance i have 5 months warrenty left been reading the reveues and got the names but have you the numbers of maria whyte and angie matthews so i can start ringing round if thing get sticky. hope you had a good outcome . if the message is to long sorry i dont know how to spell the short way as i,m just getting the hang of these computers thanks
