Greeting to fellow Navara owners ;D
Presently I own a D40. I have had Navara's for many many years, started off with a single cab workhorse when they first were available over here.
In all that time, I've NEVER had a major problem with the trucks. Minor things went wrong, but never a total failure, and always under warranty. Out of warranty I've only ever had to replace the usual serviceable items. Nothing major. All my past Nav's have done over 100K miles before changing them, some in excess of 150k.
My present D40 has done around 40k and all its had done is 2 services and the standard Airbag recall. No issues with anything else.
As an engineer, I run new engines in carefully, and feel it helps prolong the life of an engine. Once past 1K then I do drive them hard.
I have many friends and family that have in the past owned Navara's and some still do. Not one of them has a horror story to tell.
I'll still keep on buying Navara's as I like them.
For those of you that havent tried the D40 - Try one, they are GREAT. Such a lovely drive, and full of creature comforts. I use mine more and more, and my M class Merc just sits at home gathering dust as I prefer to drive the Nav even when I'm not working!
