Looks like Watchdog have been sniffing around and come up with a rather weighty file of complaints, At last i hear some of you cry, maybe they can once and for all get Nissan to tell us all why these engine are suffering massive engine failure, obviously we have all looked into the expert opinion given by different people and they have all said the same, no amount of servicing or missing the service schedule by 1000 miles could cause this (well unless you chose not to service a vehicle thats cost you £8k+ at all).
Why am i moaning when Nissan replaced my engine surprisingly quickly well apart from the fact i couldn't sell my D22 due to the fact the engines aren't trustworthy, and now have a stigma attached to them, but more so the fact they have replaced the engine with the same again, when will it go bang again??? its a waiting game, a very expensive waiting game, Ive asked Nissan whats the warranty on this new engine expecting a minimum of 92,000 miles or 5 years on just the new engine
What do i get........... 92,000 miles or 5 years whichever is sooner on my whole truck, (engine included) so thats 1 years warranty left and 12,000 miles on a brand new engine (way too short) , so looks like I'm living my life on a prayer,
I'm going to have to join the AA or RAC and start saving for the next engine,
PLEASE WATCHDOG GET JUSTICE NOT JUST FOR ME BUT FOR ALL THOSE NAVARA OWNERS WITH PROBLEMS

>>>>>>BREAKING NEWS<<<<<<<<
Nissan have just brought out a new 4x4, its called a... (wait for it)...... NP300.... which looks spookily (well not spookily... its the same !!! dont belive me google NP300 )like a D22 with the later D40 engine.
WHY DON'T NISSAN USE THE TRIED AND TESTED ENGINE THATS IN THE D22 ALREADY ? BECAUSE THEY ARE A LOAD OF........(ENTER YOUR OWN CAPTION)
Nissan need to replace all those dodgy engine with the newer D40 Dci engine or even better the terrano engine, at least its NISSANS own engine, not something thats been pulled out of a Renault Maxity (transit style flat bed) and bodged/made to work
My truck still it ain't worth a bean, after all throw enough sh*t, it will eventually stick
Nissans own words........The NP300 Pickup is a tough dependable workhorse thats engineered to deliver and massively strong. (smell i reckon)
