Wow, we made it, after months of worrying and stress and a very shaky start from Nissan customer services we have had a wonderful result, we have had the Nav engine replaced and subsequent oil leak sorted at no cost to us, a cheque to cover our costs and yes a lovely box of chocs, funny they disappeared quickly. We started this journey on our own but have encountered the most wonderful people along the way. Huge thanks to Niall and Nik for their help, encouragement and support, we couldn't have got as far as we did without your knowledge and time. Also to Angie Matthews ( Nissan), who once she had taken over our case things really moved, she was absolutely brilliant, nothing was too much trouble for her. She kept us in touch with exactly what was going on, liaising with our local dealer, Ames of Thetford who were also really helpful and efficient in getting our Nav back on the road. I would say if your case isn't resolved yet stick with it, it does take time but in the end Nissan came up trumps for us! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

its going ok, nissan have agreed to pay 2 3rds of the labour costs and i will get a years warranty with unlimited mileage so am over the moon with this my soliciter friend hasnt responded!! not that it realy matters now as mine should hopefully be put back together next week... fingers crossed.... ive had all the engine packed into the pick up so it should arrive safely with another cost on top of everything else. recovering it down there!! hopefully they will do a good job as reading todays post there workmanship leaves something to be desired!!! but we will see how it goes and hopefully all my problems will be ironed out and i will finally be able to DRIVE may car!!!! careful!!! hows your negotiations? Hi Tom What an absolute disgrace that you have no confidence now in your pickup.Other members have indicated to me that they are going to do the same and sell .It would be heavy on my conscience to sell to someone who might need ,as you do for your business,or could be a young man with a family and the last thing he needs is a knackered navara. Nissan Hang your head in Shame for all the anxiety and despair that you have put all of us through. And what have we done?We all bought a Navara Regards Niall
