Hi Guys ,I,m off to the alps for 2 weeks starting fri 28th I,ve got to drive that silly wee micra belonging to my wife, because I,m petrified to drive my pickup out the driveway.I cant fit many cases of wine and lumps of cheese in that tiny boot.Pissed off, I am ?Let,s get organised now .There,s 15 of us ,and that,s enough to get started.Does anyone know a motoring correspondent?Does anyone have an engineers report?,and does anyone have a passenger side overtaking mirror for sale?I,ll be back about the 14th april Let,s start fighting

Hi All ,The snow was great ,driving through France was just wonderful with cherry blossom all over the place and my wifes silly wee Micra behaved perfectly. Its fuel consumption was about 50 mpg. I ,m lucky if I get 25 from that pickup of mine However !What are we going to do now???There,s 21 of us to date and more will join I spoke to 4 French blokes with navaras, and between my french and their english they were not surprised to find out about our troubles because they are having the same. I think we can go ahead now with 21.I think we need a committee and 3 or 4 of us to actually dedicate some time and administer on behalf of all others in here .We need the help of a motoring correspondent who will publicise our campaign.we need an engineers report on the cause of engine failure, and we need a lawyer. This litigation can only happen once,It must be right first time, and all of us need to fully participate in letter sending and complaining.A bank acount will have to be set up for lawyers fees we need to talk about a no win no fee situation These are my ideas about it all Please feel free to contribute and advise and lets start taking areas of responsibilityCan we also have some time collectively onsite for a conference??we can all decide the timeI also think it would be a good idea to keep our negotiation in house until we are organised ,so,weenib@ hotmail.com or 01851 710287 for contact until we plot and plan O K nib out

Hi Guys Iam the man from Aberdeen that Niall spoke to. I don't have time at the moment to tell my whole story but Niall is quite right I did get a new engine block from Nissan but it took six months. Another guy in this neck of the woods also got his engine replaced.
I was 1 month out of warranty and 50800 miles.
I have to say park your car up at the dealers and patience and persistance is what is required.
I will when I have more time give a more detailed account of my conrod adventure.
Good luck

I was in Cardiff yesterday looking to buy a 54 plate Navara. a chap came up to me after negotiations with the salesman and made me aware of this site. After reading all the information on the site i have been put off the idea of buying said Navara..i'm somewhat dissapointed not to buy it but with all the problems this model seems to have with no redress form Nissan it would be madness to go ahead with the purchase. Thanks to this site for sharing the information and saving me from making a serious financial mistake...well done Niall Scott for spreading the word on this vehicle as the information is spreading to all areas including Wales..Many thanks...Colin..

Good Evening. If you guys want to read about a Navara tale of woe I will give it to you on Sunday. 55 plate Aventura with 130,000 miles on the clock and that is with little use over the past 6 months. Long distance European travel. Broken components..Just about everything. Oh, and I'm in court with Nissan next month at Durham County Court. Don't talk guys, Do It.

Hello everybody
I am posting here as unless you are logged in you cannot see my netries on Nissan replies.
I'd just like to thank everybody who has contacted us over the past few weeks.
Since Niall and Nick brought this to our attention, of the 12 claims on D22 engines we are pleased to report that we have, or are in, the process of resolving all but 1. I would like to be clear in saying that each and every case has been considered in an equal, consistent manner.
As we don't have any other 'live' cases that we can report on it’s unlikely we'll be posting here for a while but we want to assure everyone that the dedicated email address Customer.support_navara.co.uk will remain live and we would encourage anyone to contact us, regarding concerns, issues and comments.
We would like to end by assuring you that Nissan truly values all of its customers . Thanks to this forum, we've been able to speak to you directly over the last month to help resolve your problems, so again thank you for your contributions.
