>:(Following a long wait in service reception I was told that my 2009 Navara adventura was completely serviced except the reversing light did not work and the technician had spent half the day tracing the problem. Could I bring it back in for this to be done under warranty?
I grumbled a bit, it is a 30 mile round trip after all and how difficult can the reversing light circuit be??
I took it back in a couple of days later with a nasty rattle when the clutch is in but no gear is engaged and the light could be done at the same time.
The light was solved quite quickly, something about having a fuse in the fuse box and knowing where to look for the fuse box was said to have helped quite a lot!
The rattle?? Oh well I have just got to live with that because when Nissan replace the dual mass flywheel with a cast iron lump that doesn't fall to bits after 10,000 you get a good deal of coarseness and vibration along with the deal.
All under warranty of course. Thanks to Nissan for that at least but I really would have preferred the quiet rattle free vehicle I bought in the first place and I would rather not have traveled an extra 300 miles back and forth to the main Agent.
Still it still runs and pulls my 3 tonne trailers.
